Everyone is Replaceable

If they can replace the President every 4-8 years, then EVERYONE is replaceable! Know that, write it down, remember it. You can never make yourself irreplaceable, but you can certainly make yourself IN DEMAND! If you are in demand, no one actually wants to replace you, they want to inspire you.

So how do we make ourselves In Demand? For starters you won’t survive on “average”. The days of being an employee or CEO that just does the minimum of what’s asked of them are coming to a trickle. There are a few reasons for this. First, with the limited jobs available, there are over qualified, hard-working people, working for way less and the economy has created harder working businesses with flat or less profitability. The second? People are becoming much more armed with knowledge. The business world, the business model and the way we do business are changing at a rapid pace.

You're not the only one with great ideas.  Tons of people have them, hell, there are blogs on how to institute great ideas on almost everything now.  What will separate you from everyone else is actually following through with them.  Doing things and then repeatedly doing them.  Yes, it takes more work, yes it will probably take awhile until anything comes out of it, but yes it will be worth it.

What can you do to make yourself stand out from your peers?  To help your clients or customers?......Not in sales? Then what can you do to simplify processes or increase productivity for your office?  If you want to get paid more you need to be worth more, you need to be In Demand and you need to be an asset.  There's always someone who can be trained to do what you do, to do what I do, to do what the President does....it's what we all do with our knowledge that sets us apart from the pack.  The people with great ideas, the people who embrace change and are always looking for "how can we make this better".  Those are the successful people.  So get Inspired! Be valuable! Turn Heads! Make them need you!
