If you have a phone with an app...you need to download this purely for the reason of going to the mall check out some discounts that Foursquare offers when you check-in. These are of course location based for Hartford, but some apply to all states, just go online at Foursquare.com and start an account...look for the companies offering discounts in your location. As you will see below, it's local retailers as well as National chains. I've listed some of the deals around me below, and at the bottom is the link to go and place your location in.
If that isn't reason enough to sign-up, I saw the app in full force this weekend when we were waiting in line at the DC International Spy Museum and there were 40 comments as to what to do there, what to avoid, and what to expect.
